Introduction
What this system is
Section titled “What this system is”A component library whose visual values come only from tokens exported from Figma. Every colour, space, radius and font value in a component references a token; a component carrying a raw hex is a defect, not a shortcut.
The libraries
Section titled “The libraries”The published web library is Lumo.Web.Component.V1.0.Complete. Component descriptions in that library are the source for every “when to use” and “when not to use” statement on this site — they are transposed verbatim, never paraphrased.
What a component owes
Section titled “What a component owes”Every component covers every interaction state the product uses — default, hovered, pressed, focused, disabled, error, loading, as applicable — and every variant and state has a story. A state the design does not define is a design gap, recorded and reported rather than invented.
Where design and code disagree
Section titled “Where design and code disagree”Disagreements are recorded, not resolved quietly. Each component’s Design tab lists what Figma never bound and the gaps raised against it.
